The Starfish Class is taught by Miss Patrece.

In the Starfish classroom we work on:

• Beginning social skills
  
• Beginning to talk in sentences
  
• Imaginary play
  
• Looking at books and listening to books read by the teacher
  
• Introducing sensory exploration with varied materials
  
• Beginning to utilize fine motor skills with developmentally appropriate materials
  
• Putting together large puzzles
  
• Beginning to recognize colors and shapes
  
• Participating with music and movement
  
• Beginning to use the toilet
• Taking care of the garden and class pets: guinea pigs, fish & turtles
