Heather Gasner

Preschool Director


Miss Heather is the Director of St. Andrew's by the Sea Episcopal Preschool. Heather is born and raised in San Diego! She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development and has worked in the field for the past 30 years as a Teacher, Mentor, Director and NAEYC Validator. Working together with parents and staff, she continually seeks new and creative ways to assure that each child fulfills his/her potential and has their needs met. Heather believes that children learn through play and strives to provide a rich and stimulating environment that promotes development in the whole child including the social, physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual side of each child. She looks forward to meeting and sharing with you our quality enriched preschool program here at St. Andrew’s. Heather has her Site Supervisor Permit in Child Development and has been working at St. Andrew's by-the-Sea Preschool since 2012.

Erin Cabrera

Assistant Director

Miss Erin is the Assistant Director at St. Andrew's by-the-Sea Preschool. Erin is born and raised in Pacific Beach. She loves being a part of the development of the children, particularly through her love for the creative arts. She enjoys providing a positive educational experience full of discovery and fun. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education along with her Site Supervisor Permit. Miss Erin has been a teacher at St. Andrew's by-the-Sea Preschool since 2007.

Michelle Godard-Titus

Ocean Explorers Classroom Teacher


Miss Michelle discovered her love for childcare early on when she was 12 years old, by babysitting and volunteering at her Church nursery. She has continued her passion to create a positive and nurturing environment with the hope that she can instill a desire and eagerness to learn. Part of this motivation comes from her wonderful memories of her Kindergarten classroom as a child. She aspires to create the same magic she had in the classroom. Michelle has over 15 years of experience working with children of all ages. Her experience was through different types of childcare facilities such as Preschools, after school programs and she even taught English in France when she lived abroad there for 3 years. Miss Michelle knows how to get children ready for kindergarten especially through her experience as The English Kindergarten Teacher at San Diego French American School. Miss Michelle worked at St. Andrews in 2017 to 2019 she is so happy to be back at St. Andrews as this was a treasured experience for her. She is so excited to join the St. Andrews team and give excellent love and care to each student once again.

Daniela Soriano

Sea Turtle Classroom Teacher


Miss Daniela is the Dolphin teacher. Daniela was born in Mexico, but was raised in Vista and San Diego. She enjoys teaching the children art and literature. Daniela has her Bachelor’s of Science in Early Childhood Education from San Diego State University. Daniela believes that children learn and develop best through social interactions so she ensures to provide multiple opportunities for the children to engage with each other and teachers.

Eva Maldonado

Sea Horse Classroom Teacher


Miss Eva is the Sea Horse teacher. Eva grew up in Mexico and moved to San Diego in 1995. She enjoys teaching the children art and music. She has over 15 years of experience teaching preschoolers! Eva has her Associate Teacher Permit in Child Development and has been teaching at St. Andrew's by-the-Sea Preschool since 2012.

Jacqueline Valladares Luna

Dolphin Classroom Teacher



Miss Luna is born and raised in San Diego. She has always wanted to work in the field with kids since a young teenager. She would babysit in the summer as well as taking care of her nieces and nephews. After graduating high school and searching for her calling she enrolled into some Early Child development classes at Mesa College and loved everything about it! She is still continuing her education in Early Child development. She loves working with kids and finding ways to create an environment for them to grow in!

Jackie Stevens-Santana

Jellyfish Classroom Teacher


Miss Jackie is the Jellyfish teacher. She was born and raised in San Diego. She studied early childhood education at Mesa College and has worked with children all her life including 15 years experience as a nanny and preschool teacher working with infants through Pre-K. She has followed in her mother's footsteps who was a preschool teacher and director for many years. Children are her passion and she is so happy to join the team at St. Andrew's Preschool!

Martha Barreto

Rainbow Fish Rover Teacher


Miss Martha helps in our Jellyfish and Starfish classes. Miss Martha was born in Mexico and moved to San Diego in 2003. She grew up with three brothers and has three children of her own who have become successful young adults thanks to her patience, care, and love. She got her Associate Teacher Certificate from Southwestern College specializing in Child Development. She has been working for over six years in this profession. Miss Martha has experience working with children from infants and toddlers to preschool ages. She began working for an agency which would send her to all different kinds of schools allowing her to gain experience in different types of learning environments. She believes it is important to have and create a healthy, peaceful learning environment for the children, and through various activities make learning fun.

Monica Revilla

Angelfish Rover Teacher


Miss Monica helps in the Sea Turtles and Ocean Explores classes. She works hard to help keep St. Andrew's preschool running smoothly.  She gives teachers morning breaks, afternoon breaks, helps with transition times (lunch, nap, diapers, chapel and more!). Thank you Miss Monica for doing our outdoor sanitizing of toys and play equipment along with other various things that help make St. Andrew's stay healthy and safe. Monica Revilla was born in Obregón, Sonora. Mexico. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Major in Educational Psychology. She earned her degree at the University of Sonora, in the city of Hermosillo. She studied at Southwestern College, taking Child Development classes (ECE) to complete her studies, where she obtained her Child Development Associate Teacher Permit. For the past 29 years, Monica has worked as a Lead Teacher or an Assistant Teacher, guiding children from the ages of toddler through elementary. She taught for 15 years at a private school in Mexico, as Elementary lead teacher, and also for 5 years as Lead Teacher at the preschool level. Monica moved to San Diego in 2012 and for the past 9 years she has worked throughout North County San Diego as a preschool Spanish Assistant Teacher, working with Toddler and Primary age students. Throughout her teaching career she has been responsible for developing students  critical thinking skills, and prides herself on a peaceful learning environment using conflict resolution and teaching empathy for others.

Miss Patrece

Planting with Miss Patrece! Each week she works with the children in the garden and shares her love of animals and nature. Salt and Pepper (turtles) and Cinnabon are here too!
