The Sea Horse class is taught by Miss Eva.  

In the Sea Horse class we work on:

• Using social skills for cooperative play

• Maintaining focus for an appropriate length of time with self-selected activities
  
• Gaining independence in basic personal needs
  
• Using scissors effectively

• Utilizing fine motor skills with developmentally appropriate supplies
  
• Making simple patterns
  
• Building number recognition
  
• Identifying letters and some sounds
  
• Identifying rhyming words and reciting rhymes and songs
  
• Demonstrating beginning reading skills and dictating stories to be written
